    FOLK STUFF

For those who are keen in Russian exotics, RAF has provided for the section of the traditional Russian martial competitions taking the beginning in heathen beliefs, for example, the Sun-worshipping bare-knuckle fisticuffs. No protection equipment, no gloves, full contact blows with fists and elbows to any part of the body, up to the surrender or disability to resist.

Less dangerous fun is gathered in the "Combat Games of Russians" collection. Quite frequently practiced in RAF is a wonderful lesson called "Svalka" ("mess"). It is an endemic Russian folk fun that had been widely practiced everywhere in Russia from the very ancient times. It is a group fisticuffs competition where everyone stands for himself, everyone versus everyone. We organise Svalkas with dozens of fighters.
