STORM FIGHTING
Best traditions of the Russian hand-to-hand fight, its offensive power and irresistible on-slaught had been brought to correspondence with the modern demands by the Russian Storm Fighting that appeared in Russia in late 1980s. The technical base of the Storm Fighting is wholly based on the Russian traditional forms of punching, kicking and wrestling.
There have been no such breakthroughs in the world history of sport martial arts. The Storm Fight bouts follow the original scheme that has no analogues. In Storm Fighting only offence is allowed, the fighter must move forward, taking ground and dislodging the adversary, while striking as many blows at him in a period of time as possible. Having approached each other the fighters may move on to the power wrestling leading to the ground fight. Free ground fight with blows, pain holds and strangling is allowed.
While in other martial arts bouts are minutes long, in Storm Fighting every second counts. Fighting is organised according to the 10x10 formula (10 rounds 10 seconds each).
Russian Storm Fighting cultivates the instant fierce attack, taking the adversary to the ground for finishing with blows.
Russian All-Round Fighting recognises Storm Fighting as the top of the hand-to-hand training and includes it in its Sport Level.
